The Penny Arcade eXpo is one of the biggest celebrations of gaming culture. Held at different cities throughout the year, thousands of gamers flock to PAX to get the inside scoop on what’s going on in the world of video games.
Among the attractions at PAX are keynote speeches from industry insiders, gaming-inspired concerts, panels on game topics, exhibitor booths from game developers and publishers, LAN parties, game tournaments, video game freeplay areas, and much more.
With so much video game action going on, it’s only fitting for Newegg to be in the middle of it all. We’ve had a long-standing relationship with gamers and with our new gaming website, GameCrate, we’re ready to deepen our commitment to our customers even further.

Newegg and GameCrate will be having a lot of activities for our fans to enjoy while at PAX. We’ll be at our very own booth (#986) on the show floor where we’ll be raffling off prizes, have social media contests, and give away a bunch of free goodies.
We’re also hosting the following special events:
- April 12 – Paul from NeweggTV will go head-to-head against Slick from Linus Tech Tips in a “Fastest Build Contest” that will be streamed live from the Twitch.tv stage.
- April 13 – Exclusive interviews with Paradox Interactive CEO Frederik West and Xbox LIVE’s Larry Hyrb (AKA “Major Nelson”)
- TBD – Unveiling event with Leap Motion showcasing their newest technology.
