The Intel RMS2AF040 is one of Intel’s new entry-level 6Gb/s SAS I/O modules with four 7-pin SAS/SATA connectors, which offers exceptional data protection and configuration flexibility at lower prices than enterprise-class RAID adapters. Designed for a wide selection of Intel Server Boards, this SAS/SATA RAID module offers features such as LSI’s SAS2008 6Gb/s I/O Controller (IOC), and delivers essential performance for 3Gb/s and 6Gb/s drive-based solutions.
