Pros: great proccesor

Cons: Did an order from EOL and after 2 weeks did not get it. I contacted newegg and EOl just said they would reverse the order. Huge waste of time.

Pros: I bought this for my HTPC setup, used several parts off my older 2009 gaming system when I built a new one and am really surprised how this processor doesn't flinch at all with windows 10 and running any media like Netflix, Crunchyroll and other media apps. I don't game much on it but even running World of Tanks and World of Warships at nominal settings ~40PFS.

Cons: Wish it was like the newer i3s with 2 more virtual cores

Overall Review: Great for desktops that are not graphic intensive or for HTCPs! Keep it up Intel!

Was running Windows 7, now 10! Boots up in 15 seconds

Pros: Brought new life to my PC, switching from a core 2 duo with 3 gigs of DDR2 (800 MHz) to an i3 and 4 gigs of DDR3 (1333). Much better, but I could've gone a different route.

Cons: Outdated. Prime during its own time, but is now old.

Overall Review: Got this from an Intel fanboy who convinced me that buying his old Intel i3 that is 2 generations outdated was better than buying a new AMD vishera 6-core. Not exactly the case. Doesn't overheat, and it cost me 50 bucks, but I would've rather payed $150 for the AMD and an aftermarket cooler to keep it cool.(because AMD runs hot)

Pros: None really besides price

Cons: Slow - Dont think you will be doing any multitasking with this

Overall Review: Upgraded about 3 months of having this to an i5 2500k highly suggest that if you can pick one up

Pros: Ostensibly Compatible with EVGA Z68 FTW 160-SB-E689-KR LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard.

Cons: ^-In practice, not s'much.

Pros: Ran this processor for over a year until I was able to replace it with an Ivy Bridge quad-core. It ran all of my applications and games perfectly adequately. 1920x1080 video decoded perfectly using software decoding, games ran smooth.

It has been handed down into new computers twice now and continues to run perfectly.

Rock solid for a budget processor!

Cons: Weak integrated video.
Intel's stock coolers are a joke.
A LOT of force had to be exerted to clamp down the processor in it's socket.

Overall Review: Make sure to turn off the integrated video in your bios right away if you have a discrete video card.
Replace the stock heatsink as soon as possible.

Pros: Great budget gaming CPU. I play Skyrim, Assassins Creed 4, DayZ and Bioshock Infinite and this processor keeps me close to 60fps in all of them with my GTX 760. Great for PCSX2, runs Shadow of the Colossus (the most demanding game for the PS2 emulator) without a problem. Definitely the best ~$125 processor when I bought this in July 2012.

Cons: Not a quadcore. No overclocking options. Better 3rd/4th generation i3s out now.

Overall Review: Has lasted me a year and a half without any hiccups at all. Plan on upgrading to an i7 for my gaming rig soon and throwing this CPU into a low wattage server/HTPC.

Overall Review: I bought this for my parents' computer build. I wanted something cheap, but which, when paired with a SSD, would give them a speedy boot up.

Not much else to be said, really. The product arrived quickly and has worked as advertised. It's certainly an improvement in every way over the 6-year-old core we had previously. Haven't had any flaws yet and I'm certainly happy with it.
