every ram that have more than the initial CPU stock speeds needs to activate XMP memory profile in bios to reach the memory speed comes in description. asDDR4 initial stock speeds is 2133 or in somes intel cpu is 2400mhz, DDR5 initial speed is 4800mhz, every ram starts with those speeds unless you activate XMP memory profile in bios. so if you bought some time ago a ddr4 with 3600mhz but you pc only shows 2400mhz is because you never activated the XMP memory profile in bios.
