Can I use optane memory M10 32Gb with a WD Black SN750 M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4 internal solid state? My mother board is ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming which claims that it can right on the box. It has two M.2 sockets. The first M.2 socket supports PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA mode M Key design and type 2242/2260/2280 PCIe and SATA storage devices. The second M.2 socket supports PCIe 3.0 x4 M Key design and type 22/42/2260/2280/22110 PCIe storage devices. Any help would be greatly appreciated since Intel and Asus are unable to give me an answer.

Hello A Shopper - I don't see on the ASUS website where it does for your MoBo. It only shows these are the compatible MoBo's for Intel Optane Memory - X299, Z370, Z270, H370, H270, Q270, B360 & B270. Sorry no one has answered your question yet. Thanks for your question.

Is this compatible with a z270 chipset mobo? Is this compatible with an 7th gen i7?

Yes, it depends on the motherboard though. You can see chipset & processor compatibility at a document on Intel's support website called "Software and Platform Support for Intel® Optane™ Memory"
