The high speed USB 2.0 interface provides both the power and the data path so you don't need to carry an external power supply.
Included with the drive is a license for EMC's Retrospect HD backup and disaster recovery software. Keeping your data backed up has never been easier. You can also drag and drop files onto the drive just like an internal hard drive. The drive is preformatted so all you have to do is plug it in and transfer files.
