The KanexPro SW-SDI4X1switcher is a four-input, one-output switcher, and can switch four SDI, HD-SDI, or 3G-SDI sources to one SDI monitor or display output. It can be controlled by using an RS-232 to switch the input. This high-performance unit supports data rates up to 2.97 Gbps, multiple video resolutions, multiple color space, and features re-clocking technology for a long transmission range. Plus, this compact 4X1 switcher supports multi-stage cascading, making future expansion easy. It is perfect for use with SDI-based HDCCTV surveillance systems, rental and staging facilities, post-production, TV studios, digital cinemas, or other A/V applications.

In addition, it features an input/output equalizer function, and a memory function that can recall the last input after restarting.
Transmit signals at longer distancesThis 4X1 switcher features the re-clocking technology to drive the signal at longer distances: SDI input cable length of up to 300m, 3G Mode (1080p/60) length 80m in 3G mode (1080p/60), and HD mode length up to 130m.
Cascadable DesignIt supports multi-stage cascading for adding more SDI components and switchers.
