Can it be used outdoors?

This mount is an excellent product! All of the parts are painted but that doesn't mean you won't see some rust developing on some of the fasteners or the moving parts. As long as you're installing this where it won't be directly exposed to rain, I think it be a good choice for outdoor use. Even if it was exposed to rain, it definitely wouldn't fall apart any time soon.

WITH NO PROBLEM,AS LONG AS YOU MAKE SURE THAT THE TYPE OF FASTENERS YOU USE ARE SUITABLE FOR USE WITH THE MATERIAL THAT YOUR TRYING TO GO INTO IE,: CONCRETE FOR CONCRETE, WOOD FOR WOOD, ETC. THEY ALSO SHOULD BE AT LEAST 3 TO 4 INCHES LONG.  M.JENKINS,NEW YORK CITY.

yes it will. you must first make sure that you can find your wall studs and make sure that you use the proper screws (long enough to support the weight of your TV).

I bought this mount for my Samsung downstairs.  I mounted it to one of the pilings in the study.  The package came with more than enough nuts, bolts, and spacers necessary for the installation. My TV is a 42" but should be sturdy enough to handle the larger TV. I had a friend help but I should have been able to do it by myself.
