I have a gateway laptop and wanted to add more memory.  Here are the system specs  Intel(R) CPU T2050@1.60 GHz  Memory (RAM) 1014 mb 32 bit.  Will this card work?

As always I do extensive research to compare compatible memory modules. Apples to Apples, if all the numbers match and also the CS
(cas latency) pin DDR3 - SO-DIMM - DDR3 1600 & PC3 12800.
After comparing all info, even inexpensive memory is a good purchase that I've found.

Question 2

Will this 2 GB chip work in a HP Compaq Desktop dc5800 Small Form Factor? its refurbished and very slow with little space. I dont know what the max. expandable ram is for this type of computer...

This is SO-DIMM notebook RAM.  You need (from the manual):
Installing Additional Memory
The computer comes with double data rate 2 synchronous dynamic random access memory (DDR2-SDRAM) dual inline memory modules (DIMMs).
DIMMs
The memory sockets on the system board can be populated with up to four industry-standard DIMMs.
These memory sockets are populated with at least one preinstalled DIMM. To achieve the maximum
memory support, you can populate the system board with up to 8 GB of memory configured in a high performing dual channel mode.
DDR2-SDRAM DIMMs
For proper system operation, the DDR2-SDRAM DIMMs must be:
? industry-standard 240-pin
? unbuffered PC2-5300 667 MHz-compliant or PC2-6400 800 MHz-compliant
? 1.8 volt DDR2-SDRAM DIMMs
The DDR2-SDRAM DIMMs must also:
? support CAS latency 5 DDR2 667 Mhz (5-5-5 timing), CAS latency 5 DDR2 800 Mhz (5-5-5 timing),
and CAS latency 6 DDR2 800 Mhz (6-6-6 timing)
? contain the mandatory JEDEC SPD information
In addition, the computer supports:

Will this memory fit an Acer AspireOne D270-1865 laptop PC?

You can find this information rather easily. Go to Acer's website, then support, search for your laptop model number, then download the manual for your machine. There will be a memory upgrade section that gives specific memory requirements.

Note this... Most laptops come with one of two memory slots filled. If you are considering upgrading using two memory modules then just match the highest speeds you can afford that are mentioned in the manual to replace anything that is already in the system; allowing you to install the maximum amount of memory for your system. If you are going to just fill the second slot, then you need to find out what is already in the other slot and match it's specifications. There are software apps that will analyze the RAM and give you that info for what is installed. Memory modules have to match.

I need to replace RAM for a Toshiba Satellite Laptop A505-S6005.  Will this work?

It will work, but it is faster than the factory memory. If you plan on keeping the laptop, you might way a different memory. It can take up to 4 gb in each slot at 1066 speed. I would use 2 memory sticks. Use can use the faster speed, but the computer will just use it a slower speed.

Will this work in a ASUS EB1036?  I already have 2GB in there.  I want to increase it to 4GB.

I cannot easily answer this question for you.  I believe that the mother board in this computer will accept DDR 1333 laptop memory, but there is only 1 Dimm slot.  So you would need to buy a 4 GB card, not 2GB.

The problem is that I have never been in this computer.  The EB 1033 seems to be very similar, and I have been in that one.  That computer will only take 1 DDR 3 1333 laptop memory chip.  However, I do not know what the mother board maximum is.  I would guess 8GB, but do not hold my feet into the fire for that information.

If I am correct, then look for 204 pin DDR 3 SO-DIMM 1333 speed in a 4GB size.  I would do some research first.

I have an all in one samsung model dp-500a2d. it has 6gb ram, can i use this 2gb ram and add to the 6gb to have a max ram of 8gb?

From what I could find out it has  2 memory slots, one probably has 4gb and the other one has 2gb of memory, you would have to purchase a 4gb stick and replace the 2gb stick that's already in there. I hope this info helps

I have a MacBook Pro purchased in 2014.  The RAM says 2GB, 1RX16, PC3L-12800S-11-12-C3, HMT425S6AFR6A-PB NA AA 1419

How do I know if this is the correct part for my computer?

Memory has several Characteristics.
1.  Size - The Hynix module in the MacBook and the Kingston module are 204 Pin 
2.  Speed - both are DDR3 1600 or PC3-12800 (its the same thing).
3.  Latency both are Cas Latency 11
4.  Memory capacity both are 2GB.

They should interchange or work with each other well.  I would prefer to matching Hynix modules, but these are so similar it would not matter.

Is this compatible with an Asus Eee PC 1015PEM netbook?

This memory will work. I am not sure if the laptop will under clock it or not. The factory memory was 1066 MHz, but it appears that 1600 MHz is the fastest that the chipset will support.

The laptop came with 1 memory slot, so you would be replacing the memory. It has a maximum of 2GB on 1 channel.  The memory is pretty cheap. It might help a little speed wise.  Do not expect miracles. Refreshing the operating system (reinstall) would probably do more if the computer is slowing down.

The memory matches the speeds and style that your computer has.  If this is upgrade, I am not sure that you are upgrading.  What you need to do is a couple of simple things. First check you memory available. You can do this by installing and running Belarc advisor - it is free. Or right clicking my computer and then left clicking properties. It will tell you the total memory. Next open the bottom plate.  From the photos there appear to be three screws.  There may be one or two others that have tabs.  I do not have that machine in front of me, and the photos on the web are not good size. There should be 2 memory slots. If one is full, but the other is not then you can expand the memory.  I would try to match memory modules.  So if you have 4GB with 1 module, buy another 4GB module. If you have 2GB this one will work.

If the memory has failed, then this will work, but it is less than the factory installed memory.

The computer from the factory came with 4GB of memory. I do not know if that was 1 4GB module or 2 2GB modules.  The maximum memory is 8G, so that would be 2 4GB modules.  Based on the specs of the machine, extra memory may not buy you much, but it does help graphics some. If it only has one module in a second will help.

One final note, What should be in the machine may not be what is in it.  Crucial has a memory tester on its website that will scan you system and tell you what you have.  It is web based nothing to load.  I like both Kingston and Crucial memory. I have never been let down by either. Honestly, I use it and then investigate with my eyes as well.

It is non-ecc.  Most memory sold is non-ecc.  The ecc modules are much more expensive, and do not work in consumer grade products.
