Pros: Wanted to add SSD drive without sacrificing 2.5" bay for data drive; this mSATA drive was right combination of price and reputation.
Cons: Would have liked to see it packaged with the required screws. Had to hunt down and purchase those separately.
Overall Review: Would recommend.
Pros: Low price while still being an actual brand name.
Overall Review: Been pounding it hard since I got it several weeks ago (OS drive + random Virtualbox setups) with no issues thus far, knock on wood.
Might be a bit on the slow side on review sites, but my mSata port is limited to SATAII (300 MB/s) anyways, and it makes the most of that. My boot times are now in seconds instead of minutes. And with it as a dedicated OS drive, I don't get drive bound by Windows 10 like I was with a single HDD.
Overall Review: Good product
Pros: -As fast as my Samsung 860 Evo
-5 year warranty
Cons: -Unproven durability of TLC
Pros: I've worked with many SSD drives and this one gives the solid appearance of a snappy response in Windows 10. I'm not going to get into detailed benchmarks for a drive that is sold in the cheapest range. The 5 year warranty from a company that is well known in the memory business makes me more comfortable with this low cost purchase for someone on a small budget.
Cons: For the money, no real cons! The 120GB is enough for Windows 10 OS and some programs on the owner's computer. If he needed more I would have bought a larger capacity.
Overall Review: Works fine. Hope the 5 year warranty is not called upon for service, but should be able to get reasonable response if needed. Always have a backup system in place for your important stuff, regardless of SSD brand or model!
Overall Review: Works as advertised, easy to install, no problems.
Pros: I have used Kingston SSD in the past and that is why I purchased this one. It does what it is supposed to do.
Pros: - A 2018 era SSD (3D NAND instead of planar)
- Available in mSATA which I needed to upgrading an older laptop
- The price of the 120 GB version of this SSD is an impulse buy
- Performed perfectly so far (about three weeks) without any hickups
Cons: - There are faster SSDs out there
