I have an old asus eeepc 1002HA laptop with an IDE drive.  I'd like to install one of these ssds to speed it up.  Will it work?  Is there a problem with IDE vs SATA mismatch?  Thanks.

A SATA  drive will not interface to an IDE interface. There are adapters available to convert one to the other but not any that I know of that would fit in a laptop. I hope this helps.

Probably not. This is a 2.5" drive , the same size as a laptop hard disk.

Question 6

My games have been crashing due to overworking my current HD. When I open task manager it always says the game is using 99% or 100% of the disk.
Would running my games on an SSD solve this problem?

your hard drive may be working at high capacity because of the programs that are running. it isn't necessarily a hard drive issue, it may be a windows issue. reinstalling windows on an SSD will definitely improve overall performance, but if you have a lot running in windows, you may have a similar issue wit the new hard drive also

will it work in my dell latitude 13?

Not sure what the "latitude 13" is, but assuming it is a laptop, it should fit just fine. It is a 2.5" format drive which is what laptops use..

Question 8

Does this come with access to the software to clone a current drive and put the cloned data onto this drive? I mainly want to make sure I can transfer my current copy of windows onto the new drive so I don't have to buy another copy.

It didn't come with any software when I bought it.  However, if you're using Windows 7 or above, you can mirror the drive within Disk Manager.
*Install the SSD as a secondary drive and power up your PC.
*Go to Disk Management within Windows.
*On the newly added disk right click the the disk number and select "online"
*Right click on the disk number again and select "initialize". MBR is fine for 2TB or smaller drives. Anything over 2TB will need to be GPT.
*On the source disk (the disk we want to clone), right click on a volume and set select "Add Mirror."
*Select the newly created destination disk (the SSD you just added) and select "Add Mirror."
*Repeat Steps 7 and 8 for every volume on the disk being resized especially the system reserved volume on bootable disks.
*Disk Management will show the sync progress percentage. Wait for the percentage to disappear. This will indicate that the volumes are fully synced.
*When the sync process is complete, power down the PC and unplug your old HD.  
*When you boot your PC, you'll notice that it present you with which HD you want to boot from.  Select the new one (can't remember how it names the new one, but you'll recognize it.)  You PC should boot right up on the SSD.
*To clean up the boot options in the last step, MSCONFIG will allow you to delete the reference to the old drive.  (google it)
