So is this keyboard backlit or not? Pictures look like it is, specs say it isn't?

The keyboard is backlit. It has three settings: off, mid brightness, and full brightness.

So this is marked as minor blem.. what would you reck'n that means? To my family that means it has most of the keys and and cracks/dents don't hinder the functionality. To me though it means it has a scuff or perhaps a dead pixel. Something very minor. I've never bought a laptop before and especially not online and especially not refurbished.. So thoughts/comments?

It's a nice laptop but I recommend you buying a new one. When I brought laptop had an issue with it it was refurbished the issue was sometimes with screen messesing up when you turn it on. I think because it was hot or something so I turned it back off an turn it on and it goes back to normal I don't know why it does that sometimes but it rarey happens. you can get a real good deal if it's refurbished the second week I put a 1000 gigabyte solid state hard drive and Now is awesome. So it comes down to you the buyer brand new is guaranteed. An refurbished you take your chances but you might come out with a good deal if you buy refurbished and it's something major wrong with it you can always send it back and get your money back.
