Does this tablet come with the keyboard?

This tablet does not come with a keyboard. There is one that is made for it that it snaps in, but most of the reviews are not good for that keyboard. Most complain about it missing key strokes. I bought a generic bluetooth keyboard for it and it has been working great.

does it include keyboard dock?

No it does not.  However, I've used a Generic Bluetooth mouse and it works fine.  But when I tried a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for the iPad it worked ok for awhile then something strange started to happen like repeated key presses that wouldn't stop.  I just ordered a microsoft bluetooth keyboard so we will see.

Also, I just updated to Windows 8.1 without problems.

Question 3

Is this tab running 32 or 64bit version of Windows 8? Lenovo's spec page says Windows 8 64. There are no drivers listed for 64 bit version of Windows 8.

This tablet use a Z2760 cpu,  which is a dual-core 32bit processor.
I am confused why the tablet sells for $300 and an iPad for more than $600
The negative side is the soft-keyboard, it is a little awkward. you will want to buy a keyboard/cover.

Is the keyboard included at the 398 price?

Hi Bill, I purchase the lenovo in October this year and I love it but I did not get the keyboard with the tablet, I purchased the keyboard with blue tooth and a leather case and everything connects great together the tablet is so fast and I love the 11.6 screen both together are the best and my It Team at work all are going to get one I don't know if the keyboard comes with the tablet for the price I would thing for the price it should, I did not pay that much for my tablet. 
Hope this helps you I would think that you could ask lenove and or whom ever your getting the tablet from to give the keyboard as well.

I bought this item but the USB input port will not charge and the only way I can get the tablet to charge, I have to move the cable all over the place to get it to begin to charge it. I love the tablet but that port is in the wrong place and sometimes I have to hold the cable in place to get it to charge. I would expect that the product must have a years warranty I don't know whether it's your responsibility or the manufacturers which says there is a one year limited warranty. Can I get some help to see if I can get the tablet serviced? Thank you all in advance. I am one of your biggest fans...

Michael, I'm also a customer who had the same problem. This is my first tablet and I love the design, except MS just sucks.
For your concern, I did came across but I managed to fix it. It happens to the dock for this model where the USB port is made a bit too wide so the conductors aren't touching each other perfectly, I cut a strip of electric tape and placed at the bottom of the port (female) to fill the gap and it works fine now. If this is on the tablet itself, I would recommend refund or exchange if you don't mind the trouble. However, if you did manage to take this step, I would say get another model that is not run by MS all together.

Not really sure I understand your query - are you talking about Bit
keeper disk encryption.  You can Google BitKeeper crypto algorithm, but I'd guess it's based on 258 bit AES keys.  Any less would be fairly easy to crack.

what does a tablet do vs a laptop?

The Lenovo Idea Tab does everthing that a Laptop does but is much more user friendly.  We will be buying this tablet as a replacement for the IPads currently in use with our company
