None.  It has a micro USB for charging or for connection to a PC but can't charge at the same time.
You can use a micro usb to usb adapter to attach USB devices.

I need to purchase 2 tablets to converse with my grandsons on Skype.  I want each to have his own Skype number.  Not expensive but good quality for calling each other.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

The first gen nexus 7, our the Hisence sero 7 lite, or pro, are all good options for cheap, solid android tablets that will Skype just fine. I got a Hisence sero 7 lite for $30 on newegg on sale, and for a cheap tablet with little memory, it performs great. The other two options run about 100 dollars, but they will not disappoint. A windows tablet like the Miix 2 is overkill for Skype. It's a full computer sans keyboard.

When I try to use Office I am asked for a key code.  No office student, only office 365. What's up?  How do I activate Office Student???

Is this tablet fully functional with Microsoft Powerpoint, in other words would I be able to use a Powerpoint presentation with videos embedded in the presentation and have them play? Is this compatible with a video projector?

Yes, it will run PowerPoint without any issues including embedded video. The details on this IdeaPad says it has a HDMI mini port, it does NOT. However, it will broadcast to TVs, etc. that use the newer wireless interface. One of the reasons I picked this model is that it said it had the HDMI port. Doesn't matter which sales vendor you research on, it is specified as being there.

I have seen a believable review that said it has GPS. I'm pretter sure that it does.
The features listed on most major sites says it has HDMI.
So.....Since it has GPS but is not advertised as such, could it possibly have a functioning MHL HDMI interface?

Has anyone actually plugged in an MHL adapter, or is everyone just speculating?

Please don't reply if you haven't used your own hands and plugged in an MHL HDMI adapter.

It is a Windows 8 full platform computer. Whatever you would want to do with Windows on a desktop it will also have the same function. It may not run as fast, or have enough RAM but that is the only real limitation. If you mean, "will it run LINUX"? Probably, but you will have fits trying to get all the device drivers for it, if at all.
