Can windows 10 be brought back on these machines?

Yes, but you will need to order a Win 10 USB stick from Lenovo. No charge but it takes a couple of days to ship. Caveat, we ordered 4 of these and each needs its own USB stick. Two could not be upgraded because apparently the Win License did NOT have upgrade rights as advertised. The solution, a new system board because that's where the serial number is stored. It was quite the learning experience.
