This is a factory refurbished product as stated in a previous answer. However, I am wondering if it comes with everything it did when new. Is the charging base and cords all there or will I need to purchase those separately?

Everything is included.  You get the remote, base, charger and USB cable for programming.

This remote is different than the older 880 type.  There is a delay between when you push a button and when it sends out the IR signal.  This makes it hard to fast forward through commercials for a DVR; we are always having to back-up after forwarding too far into the show we are watching.  Otherwise it is a full-featured remote and I like it.
