Distribute and control music and audio content in up to 8 rooms with the 8-Zone Home Audio Multizone Controller and Amplifier.

This multizone controller features an 8x6 matrix with six stereo audio inputs and eight outputs. Each input channel can be independently directed to any output channel using the included remote control or the keypad controllers installed in each zone.


Key Features:


Six Stereo Inputs: Four RCA line-level inputs, one dedicated 3.5 mm TRS jack input, and one selectable input that can use either the 3.5 mm TRS jack or a Toslink digital optical input.

PA Trigger: The primary source input (Source 1) can automatically override all other inputs and broadcast to every connected zone.

Dedicated Mute Input: Automatically mute each zone using a single trigger.

Output Channels: Each channel delivers 50 watts/channel into a 4-ohm load or 25 watts/channel into an 8-ohm load. Amplifiers can be bridged to produce 100 watts into an 8-ohm load.

Euroblock Connectors: Space-saving connectors for speaker level outputs, accepting speaker wire up to 12AWG and removable for easier installation.

RCA Line Level Outputs: Allows the use of a separate, more powerful amplifier in any output zone or to send the audio signal to an additional device, such as a powered subwoofer.





Zone Control:


Wallplate Keypads: Independently control each zone using lighted, soft-touch buttons. Keypads connect to the main unit using Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable.

Infrared Eye: Propagate single-band IR remote control signals to individual IR transmitters connected to the back of the amplifier, allowing control of source devices from each zone using their native remote controls.





Additional Features:


12 Volt Trigger Outputs: For each distribution zone, plus a master trigger for the entire system, enabling automated devices like projection screens or lighting to activate when the system or an individual zone is activated.

RS-232 Serial Input: Allows system control using a computer or home automation controller. A complete list of RS-232 commands and codes, including status reporting commands, is included in the manual.

Rack Mount Kit: The package includes a 19 rack mount kit for easy installation.

Expandable System: Connect up to three master controllers to provide additional channels, with audio source and control information passed between controllers using the included 18-pin ribbon cable.

Compatibility: Can be connected with the 10761 Monoprice 6-Zone Home Audio Multizone Controller Amplifier and 44519 Monoprice 4-Zone Home Audio Multizone Controller Amplifier to create systems with enough zones for nearly any scenario.

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Audio Inputs: Easily add Bluetooth audio and Wi-Fi audio inputs with the 13358 Monoprice Multizone Source with Bluetooth Receiver and the 39262 Monoprice Multizone Source with Wi-Fi Receiver and Line Input. Both of these audio devices connect directly to the 13356 RJR-2 Multizone RJ45 to RCA Converter (required) which provides RCA connection to the inputs on the back of the multizone amplifier.

Voltage Compatibility: Accepts both 115V and 230V line voltages, with a covered voltage selector switch to prevent accidental changes.
