Cons: -Sound is flat and lacks depth (No bass) -Power button significantly smaller and more difficult to press -No SRS WOW (toggle on and off by holding FF on S9HD) -Volume level lower

Overall Review: Firstly, it brings me no satisfaction to give a bad review. I have owned the S9HD's for a while now and am very pleased with thier sound quality. I read the reviews that warned about sound quality being inferior to the S9s but couldn't fathom how a trusted name like Motorola could create a product with such a rich sound and then come out with a product that is supposed to address the shortcomings of the S9s but fall so short in sound quality. It's frustrating to realize that a later version could neglect such an important part of such a good predecesor. I haven't tested them in the gym for sweatproofness or outside to confirm them addressing the outside connectivity issues outdoors but to me, these fixes are a compliment to sound that was already perfect and doesn't justify the upgrade. Contrary to common belief, the buds only help sound quality minimally as the SRS WOW seems to have been eliminated. A few upgrades but overall they missed the point about maintaining S9's great sound

Pros: Great for running.

Cons: Buttons stop working after a few months (sometimes weeks or just days) of heavy use. They also pinch a little bit, but you get used to it.

Overall Review: I've bought several pairs of these headphones. When they work, there's nothing better for running. I don't know if it's sweat, rain, or just heavy use, but they inevitably cr*p out. Sometimes I get almost a year out of them, sometimes just a few months, sometimes just a week. I know I should stop it but I just can't quit these d*mn things. They're less worse than all the alternatives I've tried.

Pros: Decent sounding set. The fit is nice and tight so they stay on during workouts (which the main reason I bought them)

Cons: After six months of use the headphones now do not work. If I start listening to music on them the audio distorts and the music sounds as though it is skipping after about 30 minutes. At this point all the buttons on the unit become inoperable. The only solution that appears to work is to reset the headset by connecting it to the USB charger for a while. Motorola Canada does not want to honour the warranty and replace the unit since they claim that Newegg is not an authorized reseller. Strangely Motorola USA does agree that the unit is defective but cannot ship me a new one since they must defer to Motorola Canada. It makes no sense to me that Motorola Canada and USA do not have uniform warranty policies. This leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be buying Motorola products if this is their level of customer service. Beware of buying anything from Motorola since it appears there is no guarantee that they will stand behind their products.

Overall Review: Decent enough product but do not risk your money here as there appears to be no recourse with Motorola if the product becomes defective

Pros: Previously, I had the motorola s9's for about 6 months before the volume up button stopped working. I was a bit worried about the new S10-HD's after reading these reviews but can tell you these are the headphones for you if you liked the S9's. Sure, the backing is inverse, but it actually doesn't get in the way at all, way better than the S9's. Also louder and deeper bass than the S9's. It took me a week to get used to the S9's comfort, but only a few days with the S10's. Yes, your ears do hurt with ANY in-ear headphones until you get used to them.

Cons: if you have very long hair, it will snag if you're not careful taking off. I have short hair but my baby girl keeps trying to put them on on then cries when she takes them off. Not really a con as they're not for her.

Overall Review: i bought the extended warranty this time as I used them about 4 times a week at the gym lifting weights and soaking them in sweat every time.

Pros: Lightweight. Able to fit my large head without issues. Easy to wipe with a damp paper towel after a workout to clean and not be damaged. People will look at you as if you're years ahead of them technically. Work fine for my in gym treadmill workouts, walking and running. So long as the phone I'm connected to is sitting stationary. Stereo audio quaility is very good when the thing it is connected to is stationary. Call quality is good.

Cons: Terrible for use when trying to even walk SLOWLY anywhere but a treadmill. Especially outside. I used a mono BT headset before this to stream music and had no issues, but this particular stereo headset loses the audio at times if you're walking/running while having the phone on your hip. The device the headset is connecting to must be abosultely stationary. I have to set my phone on the treadmill to stay steady, else the headset loses audio at times even when the phone is on my hip while I'm on a treadmill. Never had such issues with my cheap mono BT headset.

Overall Review: If you workout on a treadmill or other stationary activity where you get sweaty, this is fine. It's also good for use while sitting in a chair. But it's not good for much else.

Pros: Personally, I get great sound with these, and the microphone on them, if anything is too good. I suspect the people having issues with sound are using BlueTooth v1.1 adapters, so the quality is going to be bad.

Cons: However, who ever designed these should be fired, drawn and quartered. Seriously. The "Red" (white on older models) pads are attached with a thin layer of adhesive that melts in any real significant heat. I live in San Diego, it's always warm. 75+ temp will cause the pad to fall off, leaving nice sharp edges that will cut into your skin (or at least dig into it). And the piece of plastic "rubber" in the part that wraps behind your neck will fall off eventually too. And the button to turn it on and off, is held on by a VERY thin piece of plastic (less than 1/16 inch width) and will break off rendering the unit useless.

Overall Review: Wish I had spend my money on a product that doesn't fall apart like a pair of walmart shoes! Especially as it waits till after newegg's return period to start falling apart. Please, do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THESE!! Garbage.

Cons: unreliable, most definitely not "sweat proof"

Overall Review: I bought these after I lost my S-9's. Within two weeks they are already going bad. Now I do some research and come to find that many people who use them for working out have problems with malfunctioning sets. Mine for example have problems staying connected to the phone or even playing music for more than half a second while staying connected. I am still hoping for some work around...

Pros: Good assortment of ear buds. Through testing them I was able to determine the two best options, one slightly better for voice, one slightly better for music. The fit was MUCH better than I was anticipating based on some iffy reviews, but I was very pleased, and I have a larger than average head. Sound was perfect for what I needed. I wouldn't run in premium audio head phones, anyway. It was very nice to be able to run without the wires, while listening to streaming audio of my choice on my EVO 4G.

Cons: None, until recently. Now when listening to music the bass seems to be overdriving the speakers and there is popping/chopping. This seems to have started in the past couple of weeks, which is particularly annoying because my runs are really getting much better.

Overall Review: I am not sure if it has anything to do with the Android 2.3.3 update that came out a little while back, but I will see what I can find out. My wife just got a new phone, so I will test with that one versus my EVO 4G
