Are there any additional components required to install this into my rig? I know I need a bay for it to sit in but maybe wires that aren't included?

It does not include a SATA cable. You must have a SATA cable, typically included with your motherboard, and SATA power from your power supply.

Is there any software for cloning the drive?

If you mean does it *provide* software, I don't think I recall it having any (I didn't really check too hard though, I was using the opportunity to do fresh installs anyway).

If you mean does software *exist*, then there are tons of options. If this drive is larger then the obvious pick is Clonezilla (and there are a bazillion alternatives, that one is just one I've known for a long time).

If you're trying to move from a larger HDD to this as a smaller-but-faster SSD, then I know tools exist but someone else is going to have to answer this. Since I don't have many Windows boxes to worry about, I usually just shrink then clone partitions (which works fine in Clonezilla... for an OS that is flexible like that but Windows is hit or miss) as needed to do that.

Basically, if you mean does the drive come with software: I think "No." but I got it some time ago and wasn't paying much attention. If you mean is there software that can: I would say "Yes." followed with some options based on what you need to do.

I've noticed issues with your shipping speeds based on reviews, any clarification if this is going to continue to be an issue?

I live 10 minutes from Newegg. Instead of Newegg just ship the package thru the USPS they don't. A third party pickuped the package then the third party shipped the package thru the USPS. A one day delivery turns into a 4 day delivery . Three years ago the same problem during Christmas time. However, the item during Christmas was lost.
