    FAQ

How well do these work with audio books?

    Sure, they work perfectly!

    Does Bluetooth Work Underwater?

No, Bluetooth does not work underwater. Bluetooth uses the 2.4GHz radio frequency, which doesn't work properly underwater because water molecules weaken the signal. Bluetooth devices have a transmission range of only a few inches underwater compared to about 30 feet in the air, so with regards to swimming bone conduction headphones we recommend switching to MP3 mode.

Does the sound quality sound different from earbud headphones?

The sound quality of bone conduction headphones is not as good as that of earbud headphones due to the different ways in which sound is transmitted and produced.

    Kindly Notes

    1. Only TF mode supports working underwater.

    2. TF mode only supports MP3/M4A/WAV/APE/FLAC format files.

    3. Pressing the volume button too quickly will cause the volume to fail to change.

The NANK Runner Pro2 is a lightweight, IP68-rated bone-conduction headset with an open-ear design, Bluetooth 5.3, and a built-in 32GB MP3 player, suited to swimmers and other active users who want music without in-ear earbuds; underwater playback requires MP3 mode.

    Recommended For

    • Swimmers who want audio in the pool without carrying a phone: load supported audio files to the built-in memory and use TF mode underwater.
    • Runners and cyclists who want to listen while keeping their ears uncovered to hear more of their surroundings; the open-ear fit is suited to outdoor exercise.
    • People who prefer not to put earbuds in their ear canals and want a lightweight headset for workouts, walks, or listening to podcasts around the house.
    • Phone-free runners or gym users who want stored music or podcasts for sessions where carrying a phone is inconvenient.

    Real-World Use Scenarios

    • For a run or walk outdoors, users can listen to music while keeping their ears uncovered; reviewers describe the fit as secure during exercise and note that surrounding sounds remain audible.
    • For lap swimming, users can leave their phone out of the pool area and play audio stored on the headphones; use MP3 mode because Bluetooth has very limited range underwater.
    • During treadmill or stationary-bike workouts, users can listen without sealing their ears; the open-ear fit also avoids the plugged-ear feeling some people dislike during exercise.
    • For listening to podcasts while doing chores or moving around the house, users can keep their ears open to nearby sounds and move without carrying or wearing wired headphones.
    • For sweaty workouts or exercising in wet weather, users can keep listening without switching to ordinary earbuds; the waterproof design suits wet conditions, while the open-ear format leaves the ear canals uncovered.
