The Panasonic LUMIX S 100-500mm F5- 7.1 O. I. S. is an L-mount ultra-telephoto zoom for wildlife, sports, and distant subjects. Optional 1.4 x and 2.0 x teleconverters extend the range to 700mm or 1000mm; with a teleconverter attached, the lens is limited to the 150-500mm zoom range. The lens focuses as close as 0.8 m at 100mm and reaches 0.36 x maximum magnification at 500mm. Dual I. S. 2 provides up to 7 stops of stabilization with compatible cameras, while the Dual Phase Linear Motor supports fast, precise autofocus.
