This includes telescopes equipped with 1.25" or 2" eyepieces, spotting scopes, monoculars, and binoculars. With the addition of an included adapter ring, NexYZ can also attach to microscopes, reducing the usable diameter to 25mm, the size of a standard microscope eyepiece.

The NexYZ DX Kit is designed to accommodate a broad spectrum of smartphones, including larger "phablets" like the iPhone 8 Plus and the latest Samsung Galaxy devices. The phone platform is fully adjustable, typically accommodating devices with their cases still on. Thanks to NexYZ's robust metal spring and threaded twist lock, the secure platform can easily support the weight of these heavier devices. The kit also includes a Bluetooth Shutter Release Remote, allowing you to trigger your Android or iOS smartphone's camera shutter without touching the device's screen or buttons. This feature helps eliminate image blurriness caused by phone or telescope shaking from manual button pressing.

Pairing your Bluetooth remote to your smartphone is a quick and easy process. What sets the patented NexYZ apart from other smartphone adapters is its three-axis adjustment. Unlike most adapters that offer limited adjustment in two axes, NexYZ allows you to center your phone over the eyepiece with the X and Y knobs, and then adjust up or down over the eyepiece until you capture the entire field of view in your shot. This ultra-precise adjustment is quicker and easier than with other adapters. The NexYZ DX Kit is user-friendly, making it easy to switch between phones, eyepieces, or optical instruments.

Its spring-loaded clamps allow for quick device replacement, making it an ideal solution for star parties and group bird walks where everyone wants their own shot of the action. You can also easily switch your image from portrait to landscape by turning the padded eyepiece clamp and readjusting the X-, Y-, and Z-axis to realign your phone with the eyepiece. Please note that while NexYZ is compatible with telescopes, spotting scopes, binoculars, monoculars, and microscopes, it does not fit riflescopes. Most phone cases work with NexYZ, but for especially large phone cases with built-in batteries or folio-style cases, removal may be necessary.
