Voltage: 3.03VAC to 3.3VAC Compatible with 3.03 / 3.3 VAC, 60Hz. Never apply 120 VAC to the valve. For troubleshooting, measure the AC voltage supplied to the valve. If the igniter doesn't glow, inspect the igniter first.
Current: 3.3 A - 3.6 A Use only with an igniter rated for 3.3 to 3.6 amps. Do not modify electrical connections. This gas valve needs the igniter to be activated before gas can pass through. For safety, the gas valve will not permit gas flow if the igniter is not functioning. Check both current and voltage during troubleshooting. Caution Always disconnect power and gas supply before servicing. The valve will not open if the igniter is not drawing the correct amperage, even if it appears to be glowing.
