Really Right Stuff Bi-Directional Plate for Quick-Detach Strap Swivel #BQDS

The BQDS is our first bi-directional mounting plate with an integrated QD (Quick Detach) socket for shoulder straps. The patent-pending design centers the strap on the tripod socket of the camera body, which helps prevent the strap from inadvertently twisting the plate when using a shoulder strap. When you want to remove the shoulder strap and mount directly to a tripod head, just press the release button on the QD mount and you're ready to go.

The plate is designed to fit a wide variety of camera bodies and is precision machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum. Fully compatible with most quick-release systems patterned after our RRS Dovetail Standard, the plate features an anti-twist flange for a perfect fit that prevents twisting between the camera and our plate. A custom machined 1/4"-20 threaded, captive-style mounting screw threads into the tripod mounting socket of your camera body.
