Constructed with Carbon Exact tubing, the lower leg sections boast High Modulus carbon fiber, enhancing the tripod's rigidity and strength. This innovative design not only increases the diameter of the legs but also makes the tripod sturdier and more robust than its predecessor.

The GT3542 is a high-capacity tripod, capable of supporting up to 55.1 lbs of equipment. It extends to a maximum height of 63.78", providing ample height for a variety of shooting scenarios. When it's time to pack up, the tripod conveniently folds down to a compact 21.3" for easy transport.

Designed with versatility in mind, the center column can be removed for Ground Level Set, enabling the tripod to reach its lowest height of 5.9". The four-section legs are secured with twist locks that incorporate G-lock Ultra, a feature designed to prevent dust and particles from entering the leg system.

The top spider has been redesigned to add rigidity, and large leg angle selectors provide more area to grip when readjusting leg angles. A ballast hook on the center column allows for the addition of weight to increase the tripod's stability.

The rapid column can be inverted for alternative shooting angles or low-level macro work. The built-in hook allows you to hang a stabilizing weight, such as a full camera bag or a sand/water bag, from the bottom of the tripod center column.
