The Apollo light modifier pairs perfectly with speedlites, offering the control of a softbox with the setup ease of an umbrella. To mount the speedlite and Apollo onto a light stand with full tilting capability, an optional 5015 Shoe Mount bracket (sold separately) is required. The 50" JS Apollo boasts a 140-degree light spread, making it an excellent choice for capturing stunning portraits and couple shots. Its recessed front edge allows for better control of light, enabling you to direct the light forward through the white diffusion front for specular highlights. These highlights create a "hot spot" on your subject, resulting in a dramatic fall off from highlights to shadows.

The diffusion fabrics used in the Apollo light modifier are pure in color, ensuring the color temperature going into the fabric matches the color temperature coming out.
