Pocket-Sized Lighting for Better Photos
The Westcott S18 Mini Flash is a compact and simple on-camera flash built for photographers who want better light without the bulk or price tag. At just 3.5 oz, it slips into any camera bag pocket and mounts to most Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic Lumix, Olympus, and Leica cameras via a universal single-pin hot shoe.
More Light Where You Need It
With 18Ws of output and a Guide Number of 16 (ISO 100), the S18 produces significantly more light than your camera's built-in flash, giving you the reach you need for indoor portraits, family gatherings, and low-light scenes.
Easy to Control
The S18 has intuitive onboard controls with a clear screen for quick access to the flash settings. Manual power adjusts across 19 steps in a 7-stop range (3.0-9.0) with 0.3-stop increments, making it easy to dial in the right exposure. Recycle times range from 0.01 seconds at lower power to 2.5 seconds at full power, keeping you ready for the moment.
Bounce Flash or Direct Flash
The S18 features a tilting flash head for creative control over how your light falls. Adjust the flash head from -3 Degree to 72 Degree to point it straight ahead for direct fill flash with sharp definition, or tilt it toward a wall or ceiling to bounce soft, even light across your subject for portraits that look naturally lit. Optical slave modes (C1, C2) support multi-flash configurations for more advanced setups.
Built-In Rechargeable Battery
Up to 500 full-power flashes per charge means you can shoot all day without worrying about running out. The S18's internal 3.7V 1250mAh lithium battery charges via USB-C in about 2.5 hours. No AA batteries to stock up on, and no need to stop shooting when the battery runs low. The S18 also supports charging while in use.
Ready to Shoot, Right Out of the Box
Five color gels are included (Diffusion, CTO, 1/2-CTO, Yellow, and Red) for experimenting with creative lighting effects. At 2.4 x 2.1 x 0.9", the S18 is small enough to take on any shoot. A travel case and USB cable are included as well, making the S18 a grab-and-go solution whether you're just starting out or adding a lightweight backup flash to your kit.
