Each increase in grade number approximately doubles the filter type's effect, giving you a wide range of options to achieve the desired smoke effect. Constructed from optical glass for superior clarity and color fidelity, this filter is compatible with filter holders that can accommodate 4mm-thick, 4 x 5.65" rectangular filters.

It is manufactured using Tiffen's proprietary ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10, 000th of an inch.
