Quick-Release ConvenienceThough the LeftField Mini is more compact than LeftField 3 Baseplates, it still features our popular Open UP system for quick-release convenience. This allows you to seamlessly attach the LeftField Mini Baseplate onto any standard ARRI dovetail in moments. When in place, use the lever on the side to transition between locked, sliding and unlocked on the dovetail. Compact ClearanceWith Riser heights, you have approximately 3mm of leeway - which gives our Riser Shim the potential for a broad range of compatibility.

For cameras with an optical center distance of 46mm-50mm, such as the RED KOMODO or KOMODO-X, this Riser Shim is ideal for elevating it on your Baseplate.

The LeftField Mini Baseplate is near-universally compatible when paired with a compatible Riser. As cameras get smaller, so do their baseplates. With the LeftField Mini 15mm LWS Baseplate, you can downsize your setup whilst still maintaining our ultra-convenient Open UP quick-release system.
