You can trust the Metabones Canon FD/FL Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera T Adapter to deliver high-quality, reliable performance. This versatile adapter is designed with a matte-black treatment to minimize internal reflection, ensuring the maximum optical quality of your lens is maintained. Constructed with uncompromising precision, this durable adapter boasts a robust build quality and an outstanding finish, making it a reliable choice for professional photographers and videography enthusiasts alike. The Metabones Smart Adapter series incorporates industry-leading electronic interfacing technology from Canada, providing true electronic control of the lens' aperture directly from the camera body.
Unlike other brands that use an aluminum ring painted black on the camera-body-side, Metabones takes no shortcuts. This adapter features precision-machined brass with chromium plating on both the camera-body and the lens sides, ensuring smooth mounting, great appearance, and long-lasting durability. The lens side of the adapter is designed with a strong leaf-spring structure, enhancing the adapter-lens connection and ensuring a tight fit. This design reduces wear and prevents focus errors and optical alignment issues from appearing. The Metabones Canon FD/FL Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera T Adapter offers a precise fit and solid connection, eliminating any play, gap, or wiggling when the lens is mounted on the adapter.
No adjustments are required to fit your lens. The Smart Series Adapter features true electronic integration of the aperture diaphragm, allowing the camera to automatically choose the aperture in P or S exposure modes, or you can manually adjust it on the camera body in A or M modes. The adapter also supports EXIF data such as lens identification, focal length, and aperture. In summary, this adapter is a high-quality, durable, and versatile tool that ensures compatibility between your Canon FD lenses and Sony E-Mount cameras, delivering optimal performance and reliability.
