It supports better signal transfer with minimum signal loss over large distances and higher frequency use. Premium Materials -- The inner conductor of this CB antenna cable is made of solid copper, and the outer conductor is made of aluminum foil and tinned copper braid, which maximally protects the signal over large distances. More than 95% shield performance, 95% resistance to EMI and RFI. Waterproof and flexible PVC jacket allows the PL259 cable to be exposed in outdoor harsh environments. Stronger Connection -- The length of heat shrink tube that connects the RG8X cable and PL259 male connector is upgraded to 2.2", which better protects the connector from falling off
