KORG microKEY25 USB MIDI Keyboard Black

When it comes to compact, portable, and highly functional music production, the Korg microKEY25 USB Keyboard Controller stands out. Weighing just 1.43 lbs, this sleek 25-key USB powered controller is designed with velocity-sensitive "Natural Touch" mini-keys, offering a responsive and intuitive playing experience. The microKEY25 is not just a keyboard; it's a versatile tool that enhances your MIDI performances. It features an expressive joystick, which allows you to transmit pitch bend, modulation, and control change commands. When the built-in arpeggiator is activated, the joystick's functionality evolves, enabling you to switch between three distinct arpeggio types - up, trigger, and down.

You can also control the duration of the arpeggiated notes and engage the latch function for continuous arpeggio play, even when your hands leave the keyboard. Adding depth to your performances is easy with the Sustain/Tap button, which functions like a traditional sustain pedal. When the arpeggiator is on, this button transforms into a tap tempo control, allowing you to set the arpeggio's rhythm at your desired interval. The microKEY25 also offers a Key Transpose feature, enabling you to adjust the keyboard's pitch up or down in semitone increments. The Octave Shift buttons extend the note range by four octaves in either direction, providing a broad spectrum of musical possibilities.

For advanced customization, the KORG KONTROL Editor software can be downloaded for free from the Korg website. This software allows you to edit MIDI parameters, such as joystick control change number assignments and the keyboard's velocity curve, tailoring the microKEY25 to your specific playing style or virtual instrument control needs. The microKEY25 also comes with five virtual instruments - EzDrummer Lite, Lounge Lizard Session, Strum Acoustic Session, Ultra Analog Session, and M1 Le - turning your computer or iPad into a full-fledged music production studio. Whether you're a seasoned musician or a budding producer, the Korg microKEY25 USB Keyboard Controller is a compact and powerful tool for your creative endeavors.
