There are two modes: "T" and "R" mode (tape/radio mode). Select "T" mode when you want to play and record external audio to tape. Select "R" mode when you want to listen to or record AM/FM radio.
Maintenance : In order to get better sound, please use cotton with cleanser or alcohol to clean tape playing head, tape recording head, pinch roller and capstan after the machine is used for about 10 hours.
