Do the cameras record 24/7?
The camera detects people, animals and vehicles 24/7. It will skip empty videos without activity and record people/ animals/ vehicles. You can also keep the camera plugged to 5V power and switch to 24hr continuous recording mode.
Will I have to recharge the cameras' batteries often?
No, you don't have to. We suggest you to recharge the cameras to 100% before you mount them, then install them with the solar panels. The solar panels replenish the power everyday.
How to mount the camera on a corner or tree/ pole?
The camera comes with corner mounting pieces, with which you can mount it on a wall corner so it watches both sides of a house. Use the 4 included cable ties to tie the camera on a pole or a tree. Please refer to the install guide video on this page.
Can you add these cameras to a XMARTO NVR/ DVR?
Yes you can add these cameras to an existed XMARTO NVR system. The NVR needs to be a WiFi6 NVR to get 100% compatibility since these cameras are WiFi6 cameras. You can certainly use these cameras standalone, or group them to split-view in the App.
Is any monthly fee required to use these cameras?
No monthly fee at all. The cameras are permanently free to use. We reserved the SD card slot so users have very convenient storage options for the cameras. The WallPixel/ PixelWall Apps do have Cloud subscription plans if you'd like so.
