Does this camera record continuously, or only when motion is detected?
Both. PIR detection and AOV (Always-On Video) run simultaneously. To save continuous footage locally, a Memory Card (up to 128GB, not included) is required. Without one, only event clips upload to cloud storage (subscription required).
Is a subscription required?
A 7-day free data trial is included. After the trial, an unlimited data subscription is needed: $19.9/month or flexible annual plans available in the app. Each camera requires its own individual plan.
Can I use my own SIM card or use it outside the United States?
This camera is designed for U.S. use only. The built-in SIM card is pre-configured for Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T networks and cannot be used internationally. WiFi is not supported, and the SIM card is non-removable.
