The VM-HD16 is a 16 channel HD CCTV video multiplexer that supports AHD, HD-TVI, HDCVI, and analog security cameras. Each of the 16 BNC video inputs will accept any of the supported camera types. The VM-HD16 combines the video signal from up to 16 CCTV cameras so that they can be displayed in different configurations on a single monitor. This multiplexer works with NTSC and PAL camera formats.
There are 16 BNC video inputs on the back of the multiplexer and 16 BNC loop outputs in case you need to feed the video from each camera to a second device.
The VM-HD16 has an HDMI and VGA outputs so that the unit can be connected directly to a standard HDMI / VGA monitor. There is also an analog BNC video monitor outputs (CVBS) that can be connected directly to a CCTV BNC monitor. Please note that for high definition 1080p or 720p video output, the HDMI or VGA output must be used. The analog BNC output supports 720x480 resolution (NTSC) and 720 x 576 resolution (PAL).
The VM-HD16 supports dual monitor output, which means that the HDMI and VGA outputs can both be used at the same time. In addition, the analog BNC video output can also be used with both the HDMI and VGA outputs connected.
The VM-HD16 can be controlled using the buttons on the front of the unit or via the wireless infrared remote control that is included. The unit's case is 1U in size and includes the rack mount hardware. Please note that for high definition 1080p or 720p video output, the HDMI or VGA output must be used.
