FIDO2 MIFARE DESFire Card and USB NFC Reader Set

This bundle combines the Cryptnox FIDO2 Security Key with MIFARE DESFire NFC Smart Card and a Cryptnox USB contactless NFC smart card reader. The Swiss engineered card is a single ISO 7810 ID-1 smart card for digital authentication and access control, with FIDO Alliance Certified FIDO2 v2.1, CTAP2, legacy U2F and CTAP1 support for strong two-factor login and passwordless sign-in on services that support security keys. Its MIFARE DESFire EV2 4K applet with AES encryption supports office door and physical access control. The card uses an NXP JCOP 4 P71D321 secure element certified to Common Criteria EAL 6 plus augmented and FIPS 140-2 Level 3 CMVP 3746 for tamper-resistant key storage. It supports contactless NFC ISO 14443 and ISO 7816 contact reader use, is passive and needs no battery. The included USB reader is PC/SC and CCID compatible, USB CCID class-compliant and works out of the box on Windows and macOS, with Linux support via pcsc-lite and libccid. It reads FIDO2 cards, MIFARE Classic, DESFire, Ultralight C and NTAG badges, NFC payment cards and ISO 14443 Type A/B contactless smart cards. Native USB-C plus the included USB-C to USB-A plug-on adapter runs at USB 2.0 speed for laptops and desktops. On Android, use USB OTG with the Cryptnox Wallet app for mobile authentication and access. Both products are backed by a 2 year warranty.
