With a simple script configuration, you can use up/down on the keyboard to remotely focus objects precisely.; Wide Compatibility: The IMX477 camera module is not only compatible with all models of Raspberry Pi 5. 1, 2, 3 and 4, but also with Raspberry Pi Zero and Zero 2W, which can be easily used with a simple configuration.; Package included: Come with M12 lens and two cables, 300mm 15-22 pin cable for Pi 1-4 connection and 300mm 22-22 pin cable for Pi 0 and Compute Module connection. Note: This camera module supports the latest Bullseye (released on Jan 28th, 2022) and libcamera apps, not for the Legacy users.); Application: This HQ camera can be used to monitor 3D printer, and many other vision applications demand IMX477 camera. Product description This Arducam IMX477 High-Quality motorized focus camera module integrates a motor that could be controlled by software for a smarter focus, and you will no longer focus the camera by screwing the lens with your bare hands. Instead, keyboard keys or OpenCV can be used to remotely control the focusing process of your HQ camera.
Note: This is an IMX477 camera designed by Arducam, please use the libcamera stack. You need to modify the config. txt file and add configuration lines according to the camera type before using it. For Raspberry Pi Bookworm users running on Pi 5, please
do the following: sudo nano /boot/firmware/config.
txt #Find the line: camera_auto_detect=1, update
it to: camera_auto_detect=0
#Find the line: [all], add the following item under it: dtoverlay=imx477 #Save and reboot. If you want to enable the camera kit on the cam0 port of Pi5, please replace the dtoverlay=imx477 with dtoverlay=imx477, cam0 For Raspberry Pi Bookworm/Bullseye users running on Pi 4 Pi 0 ~ 3, and Bullseye OS on Pi0-Pi3 please check the manual that comes with the parcel for further information.
Note: After configuration, reboot the device is a necessary step.
