Own a Manfrotto 484, 486, 488, 494, 496, 498, 054, 055 and 057 series ball head and wish to use AS (Arca-Swiss) compatible system? The Haoge Female to Male Boss Adapter allows you to more easily replace the Arca-Swiss-Compatible clamp on your Manfrotto ball head. Features for
Replace Adapter: Ideal for Manfrotto ballhead. Adapter allows you to replace the original clamp. It keeps the Arca-Swiss-Compatible clamp from turning, and holds it solidly in place. The Boss Adapter has a ridge on one side which fits in the groove on the underside of the Arca-Swiss-Compatible clamp, and a ridge on the other side which fits in the groove on the Manfrotto ball head.
Installation Steps: First, remove the platform from the ball head by unscrewing the single M6 that secures it to the ball stem. Once the platform was off, aligned the Arca-Swiss-Compatible clamp and boss adapter with the bosses, dropped in the M6 screw and tightened it.
