Additionally, for deer, sturdy fence posts are necessary. 4. For tall animals like horses, use conductive tape/ribbon at least 20mm wide.
Battery drains rapidly
1. Ensure the fence wire is correctly suspended on the insulators and is not touching any other objects. 2. Disconnect the energizer from the fence and test the battery alone. If the battery maintains charge and operates the unit normally for an extended period, inspect the fence installation. Otherwise, contact the seller.
Voltage tester no reading
1. Ensure the fence wire is correctly suspended on the insulators and is not touching any other objects (e. g., vegetation, posts, ground). 2. Ensure the energizer (host unit) has a good ground connection. 3. Disconnect the energizer from the fence and test it alone. If the energizer outputs voltage, the issue is with the fence installation. The user needs to inspect the fence setup
