The Maestro 0-10-Volt Motion Sensor/Dimmer Switch works just like a Maestro dimmer with the addition of 's advanced motion sensing technology. The passive infrared (PIR) sensor, covered by a tamper resistant lens, detects heat from occupants moving and has a 180° field of view (900 sq. ft. major motion & 400 sq. ft. minor motion coverage. Unlike other manufacturers, sensors use Cross Correlation Technology (XCT) to also detect fine motion, such as typing at a desk or reading a book - ensuring lights won't turn off when you're still in the room.
Use the raise/lower buttons to adjust the light level for any activity or set the preset level to ensure lights always turn on to your desired light level automatically. Easily program your dimmer sensor for customization of both the dimmer and the sensor's functions, such as timeout, low-end trim and sensor sensitivity. sensors have an adjustable timeout (1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes) to control how long the lights stay on after leaving the room. The 0-10-Volt Motion Sensor/Dimmer Switch is rated to work with all drivers, up to 8 Amp LED drivers/ 4.4 Amp Fan (1/6 HP) with a 50mA max sink current.
Install in a single pole, 3-way with existing switch or with Maestro companion switches (MA-AS/MSC-AS) to switch from up to 9 locations. Available in 10+ colors. Pairs perfectly with Claro wall plates for consistent color matching (sold separately).
