Yes, only 2.4GH z WiFi is supported. 5GHz networks cannot be connected.

There is no charge for app notifications. However, a subscription fee will be charged for SMS or phone notifications.


Is it easy to install and set up?

Yes. It is very easy to install. Simply plug the receiver into a location within 33 feet of the router and place the sensor within 100 feet of the receiver. Follow the instructions in the manual to connect the app, and it is very easy to set up.
