It also features a larger 1.9" color display, and a choice of 8" or 15.5" high gain antennas for improved reception. Supports CHIRP programming (select "UV-5G Plus" under Radioddity.)
Programming Made Easy: It boasts a vast channel capacity 969, compatible with GMRS/GMRS repeater/UHF/VHF channels. It allows you to pre-set numerous repeaters with varying split tones, facilitating efficient use across multiple cities/towns without reprogramming. Note: A GMRS license is required
