- On Mac OS, only FDTI programming cables work with Chirp.
- SUPPORT CHIRP(select UV-17Pro or 5RM). UV-5RM, AR-5RM, and 5RM are different names for the same radio.
- Support TIDRADIO wireless programmer, select 5RM(AR-5RM). The wireless programmer work with phone APP or ODmaster web. The ODmaster web, for MacOS and Windows, works only in Google Chrome.
- To store AM 108-136MHz frequencies, either delete the channel's original frequency or use an empty channel.
- Note: Police frequency bands may vary locally. Mind local frequencies.
- Quick SUPPORT: Going to 'Orders' > 'Get help' > select the order > click 'other' > send 'seller' > then send the question
- Long press 0: Enter NOAA weather channel. Long press # Scan or stop.
