This universal USB Type "A" Dock works with laptops that have a USB-A port. It is also compatible with Surface Pro 9, Surface Pro 8, Surface Pro 7, Surface Pro 6, Surface Pro 5, Surface Pro 4, Surface Laptop 5, Surface Laptop 4, Surface Laptop 3, Surface Laptop 2, Surface Laptop 1, and Surface Books. For MacBooks, it works with a USB-C to USB-A adapter, supporting dual display for all MacBooks, including M1, M1 Pro, M2, M2 Pro, M2 Max, and earlier models.

The included USB-A cable from your laptop to the docking station provides all the connectivity, allowing your displays and peripherals to stay at your home or office setup. Simply attach the one USB-A cable and you're ready to go. Features include 2 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Ports (backwards compatible to USB 2.0 ) supporting data transfer up to 5Gbps and phone charging; 4 USB 2.0 Ports for peripherals like keyboards, mice, printers, and other accessories; Gigabit (10/100/1000) ethernet; and external headphone and microphone jacks with audio 2.0 for enhanced sound quality.

Dual display resolution via DisplayLink reaches up to 2048x1152@60Hz, including 1080P video via HDMI and DVI. Single display resolution reaches up to 2560x1600@60Hz (including QHD 2560x1440) via HDMI. A third monitor can be added using a USB-A to DVI DisplayLink adapter (part K33974AM or similar). DVI-to-VGA and DVI-to-HDMI adapters are included for greater monitor compatibility. A power supply is included to power the dock and all its ports (it does not supply power to a laptop)
