This license plate backup camera incorporates a modern 6-piece full glass F 1.8 large aperture optical system and a horizontal 135-degree wide viewing angle lens, providing a clear, undistorted picture for an accurate view while reversing. Note: Please purchase a suitable harness separately to finish installation if connecting to a factory radio. The reverse camera license plate supports three video signal output formats: CVBS, AHD, and TVI (ideal for Android stereos). CVBS is the default setting. Cut the purple wire loop to select AHD format video signal (AHD, 720P, 30fps) and cut the blue wire loop to select TVI format video signal (TVI, 720P, 30fps). It features starlight-level night vision ( 0.005 Lux, outstanding low-light performance), allowing you to park with assurance at night, on rainy days, or in dim garages. The hitch reverse camera's housing and brackets are constructed from metal and stainless steel. It has a compact size and a 2-in-1 mounting option design (license plate or bracket surface mount). It also includes 4 built-in multifunctional switching wire loops: cut the white loop for front view, cut the green loop to remove the guidelines, and cut the purple and blue wire loops to individually select AHD and TVI format video signal output. Cut the purple wire loop to choose AHD format video signal output for Dynavin 9 Premium D9 and specific ATOTO stereos (F7 Series, S8 series, and A6 KarLink version). It is not compatible with the ATOTO A6Y Series Android stereo or SA102 Starter. Cut the blue wire loop to display the HD image in true 720P HD on compatible Kenwood DNR1007XR, DNR1008RVS, DMX1057XR, DMX1037S, DNX997XR, DDX9907XR, and DMX958XR receiver stereos.
Note: Based on experience, some lower-cost or older Android stereos (manufactured before 2020) may have AHD or TVI video signal input settings, but they might not function because their internal hardware lacks support. In such cases, please use the default CVBS video signal output (do not cut the purple or blue wire loop, otherwise you may get a black and white screen). This backup car camera license plate is not compatible with suction-type dash cams, mirror dash cams, and inexpensive CarPlay devices, as these devices have different connectors (lacking an RCA female connector) or internal PIN definitions, even if some have a similarly sized 4-pin connector.
