It functions as a fiber optic decoder box for Porsche 911 (2004-2015), Boxster (2004-2012), and Cayman (2004-2016). It serves as an optic fiber decoder for BMW E9X, E7X, and F0X models. It is an optical fiber box for Audi 2G HOST / 3G HOST, and the decoder is suitable for VW Touareg (2011-2017).
Optical Fiber Box: An additional optical fiber box is necessary if your vehicle is equipped with a Harman, Kardon, or BOSE amplifier system. This decoder enables you to decode Bose or Harmon Kardon systems featuring an optical interface. This optic fiber decoder box will maintain the functionality of your car's original optic fiber amplifier, Harmon Kardon system, or Bose sound system.
Easy Installation: A grey plug must be taken out to accommodate the fiber wires. Simply attach the fiber optic connector to the CAN-BUS box on the head unit. The new head unit will subsequently be integrated into the OEM speaker system.
Plug and Play: There is no need to install 6-meter long cables from the front to the rear (trunk). All cables can be connected at the front, minimizing installation complexity and effort.
