Please carefully check the compatible vehicle models and system versions before ordering. This is a Linux CarPlay Interface Decoder Box, not a replacement screen or Android head unit. The decoder box connects to the factory CD/head unit using the included wiring harness while preserving the original BMW system and factory display. The main wiring harness is specifically designed to connect through the iDrive controller (rotary knob) interface. Supports wireless/wired CarPlay and Android Auto, screen mirroring, navigation, music, photos, and video playback. Compatible with Siri and Google voice control for safer hands-free operation while retaining OEM vehicle functions. Compatible with factory reverse camera and parking radar system. Also supports aftermarket rear-view cameras and front DVR camera input (CVBS), enhancing parking visibility and driving safety. Supports factory iDrive knob control and selected steering wheel buttons including voice and telephone controls. Supports factory Bluetooth audio transmission for wireless sound playback without AUX. If your OEM system does not support Bluetooth music streaming, AUX connection is required.
