The KD-X482DBT media receiver is simple to install due to its shallow installation depth of only 100 mm. It delivers excellent digital radio sound via its highly receptive DAB+ tuner, while also serving as a versatile entertainment hub and convenient smartphone companion. Integration of the Alexa function allows the digital voice assistant to be operated comfortably through the car stereo. It features digital radio reception DAB+ and analog radio reception FM with RDS data services. Bluetooth hands-free calling and audio streaming (A2DP) are supported, including extended control and search functions (AVRCP). The unit is compatible with Alexa voice control and data services.

It also works with the voice control of Android/iOS devices. An easy-to-read 2-line LCD display offers high contrast and a wide viewing angle. The button lighting is adjustable. The low installation depth (10 cm) allows for flexible mounting. Three preamp outputs with 2.5 V are provided for connecting external amplifiers. The front panel includes an illuminated USB port and an AUX input, both protected by a dust cover. The USB port supports fast charging with up to 1.5 A. For comprehensive audio adjustments, it includes Digital Time Alignment (DTA), DSP, and a 13-band equalizer.
