The WBC-GOLD-LOCAP-SPKR-12AWG consists of a total of 588 99.99 % highly pure Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) strands, each 0.12 mm, divided equally between two 12AWG cores in an expanded dumbbell speaker cable design. The additional distance between the two cores helps provide low capacitance and low inductance for a speaker cable in the sub-$200 price range. The conductors are covered by a proprietary PVC blend for a tough yet highly flexible outer jacket. The cable assemblies use high-grade connectors. Eminence 3-micron, 24K gold-plated, audiophile-grade 4mm banana plugs with fully insulated bodies help prevent accidental shorting.

Multi-spade connectors compatible with 8mm and 6mm binding posts provide abrasion and corrosion resistance. The banana and spade plugs are reinforced to support heavy-gauge cables with a special shaft and thicker profile.
